Preposition of Place

 Preposition of place adalah kata yang digunakan untuk menunjukkan letak suatu benda. Preposition of place biasanya digunakan untuk menjawab kata tanya Where..... Ada banyak kata preposition of place dalam bahasa Inggris, tapi disini kita hanya akan membahas beberapa, diantaranya:

1. on (di atas), contoh kalimat: The book is on the table
2. in (di dalam), contoh kalimat: There are some books in my bag.
3. at (di), contoh kalimat: My father works at the office.
4. between (diantara dua), Contoh kalimat: Elsa stands between Ali and Ambar.
5. Among (diantara banyak), Contoh kalimat: Rudi is standing among my friends.
6. beside, next to (di samping), Contoh kalimat: My classroom is beside the canteen, My classroom is next to the canteen.
7. behind (di belakang), contoh kalimat: My brother is playing behind my house.
8. in front of (di depan), contoh kalimat: Nina is speaking in front of the class.
9. under (di bawah), contoh kalimat: I put my shoes under the table.
10. Above (di atas), ontoh kalimat: There is a lamp above my bed.
