- Identification, bagian ini adalah bagian pengenalan objek yang akan dideskripsikan letaknya ada di bagian awal text. Language features adalah ciri-ciri kebahasaan. Berikut ini adalah ciri kebahasaan dari deskriptif text:
- Objek yang dideskripsikannya spesifik, contoh: My Cat, My Best Friend, Kuta Beach.
- Menggunakan kalimat simple present tense, contoh: She goes to SMP 1 Cirebon.
- Menggunakan kata sifat (Adjecive), contoh: smart, beautiful, attractive, humble.
- Menggunakan noun phrase, noun phrase adalah gabungan kata sifat dan kata benda, contoh: long straight black hair.
