"in order to" and "so that"

Kita menggunakan in order to dan so that untuk menyatakan advice (saran) kepada seseorang.


In order to atau bisa disingkat to saja, dalam kalimat harus diikuti oleh kata kerja. perhatikan  rumus berikut: in order to/to + verb base

Contoh kalimat:

1. I like doing regular exercise to maintain my health.

2. In order to stay healthy, I prefer eating healthier home-made food.

3. I swim in order to have strong muscles.

So that atau bisa disingkat so, dalam kalimat harus diikuti oleh klausa (clause)

Contoh kalimat:

1. I wash my bath tubs regularly so that mosquitoes don't lay their eggs there.

2. I’ll go by car so that I can take more luggage.
